I was recommended to use this, even though I am a natural hair wearer. This did soften my hair, but it did not give the curly effect that I was looking for. However, using this with the normal conditioner that I use increased the softness on my hair.
It smells great and is lightweight. I'm also glad that the container was a reasonable size. So many hair companies will sell extremely small amounts of product so I'm pleasantly surprised.
I ordered the French Lavender and Lemon Herb mists. So far I've been using the French Lavender, and it's very hydrating and smells great.
I’m enjoying the Lavender spray a lot. I feel like it’s more moisturizing than the Eucalyptus. Definitely keeping it in my rotation.
How long it be for I get it
I started my loc journey myself 3 months ago and on instagram freetheroots loc content was always popping up on my feed so I gave them a follow. I then got curious about their products and saw nothing but good reviews from everyone and because I’m still fairly new to locs, especially the diy method and what works best for my hair, I decided to give them a try because I’ve been exploring a number of different products anyways. Today my order came in and I was so excited because I spent all night scratching at my scalp and I’m due for my next wash in a few days. I ordered the sensitive rose mist, a nature’s medicine soap bar and jojoba oil. I decided to try out the mist and oil right away and let me just say I love the way the mist comes out of the bottle covering a good portion of scalp in just one spray and the oil comes out in a perfect amount every time! My scalp immediately stopped itching right after spraying the rose mist and as someone with dandruff and dry scalp it’s the first time I’ve felt relief in days. My locs also appear to have such a great shine to them as they were very dull looking before. The only thing left to try out is the soap bar and I’m so excited to use it in a few days I know it won’t disappoint. :)
FreeTheRoots is an amazing product. I started my loc journey a year ago and I’ve really narrowed it down to only using their products. My hair loves the acv rinse, the soaps, and most of all the MIST! OMG, what an amazing line of products they have. The mist is so amazing that not only does my bf use it on his beard daily, but my bff whole family uses it now after I recommended their products. I will continue to support this business as long as it stays owned by the same great people! They clearly care about our hair and the quality of the products they produce. Keep it up! I love my FreeTheRoots and so does my hair!
-The picture is after using the apple cider rinse, then the lemon bar soap, and followed by the eucalyptus mint spray. As you can see my hair is clean and hydrated!
As someone who is military, going out to the field and not able to wash my hair when I need to, I found the French Lavender Aloe Hydrating Mist much needed to moisturize my scalp after being exposed to the elements!
I Love the way your products make my hair feel and look. I will download a photo in Dec. When I reloc my hair. This just a photo of me. Dec. 21st. I turn 77 years old.
